My friend and I both rented the Tamarindo 1 Bedroom Apartment and the Penthouse Studio for two weeks. We were both thoroughly impressed by each of the units. They were clean, spacious, with Mexican themed decors. The beds very comfortable and inviting after a day of enjoying Puerto Vallarta. The living and lounging areas were equally comfortable. The views of PV and Banderas Bay from both the Penthouse sun deck and the rooftop pool are spectacular. The Sundeck off the Penthouse studio is spacious that can easily accommodate 8-10 people. In the afternoon it’s a great place to lounge and take in the sun to tan if that’s to your liking. We had friends over a couple of nights and made good use of the sundeck.

The rooftop pool is a definite highlight. As mentioned great vistas of Banderas Bay and a great vantage point to watch a sunset. Equipped with loungers for sunbathing, a canopied covered table and chair for shade, a wet bar area with BBQ and washroom. The great views are because the complex is a bit elevated. That means there is an incline when walking home. We got used to it and also from watching a local criss-cross up the street we figured out, while looking funny, it reduced the effect of the incline. In the two weeks there we only once opted for a cab after a particularly festive night LOL. Cabs and Ubers are so inexpensive.

Prior to our arrival I received an e-mail from Chuck, letting us know they were looking forward to our arrival and to confirm our dates and time, asking when our flight arrived. After providing the details I received another e-mail in which Chuck provided the address of Casa Tamarindo, details of travel options via Uber and Cab, and their contact numbers/e-mails. I have to say I really appreciated that and it made me feel secure in my decision to book Casa Tamarindo. I was not disappointed and I have to say that the best reasons for choosing Casa Tamarindo are Chuck and Tom. They are fantastic hosts. Knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and accessible without being intrusive. We really enjoyed their company at the pool(along with their 4 legged kids ) and all the neighbourly greetings and chit chats throughout our stay. We would highly recommend renting from Chuck and Tom anytime. Thank you Chuck and Tom for being great hosts.
